Woke up to my buzzing cell phone under my pillow around 11AM today. I realize the habit of keeping my cell under my head while I sleep is something I’m going to have to break before I end up with cancer. 
Anyways, my mum and dad have the whole telepathy thing pretty much down pat, and it never ceases to amaze me when I get that phone call, text, or warm-fuzzy-inducing email. Today’s form of telepathy came in a way-too-early-for-me-to-be-awake text message from mum, wondering if I would like some homey company. After a brief conflict with my bed, replied with a big fat YES and hurled myself out of it and into the shower. 
The unexpected attendance from my dad was a lovely surprise, the two of them showed up with a home cooked meal and a much needed care package. We caught up over coffee in a nearby timmies, which was nothing less than perfect and painfully Canadian ahaa 
Explaining how much I love those two over a blog entry would simply be futile, and to say that I’m blessed to have such exceptional role models would be an understatement. Following in their footsteps would be an honour and an accomplishment.
